Everything You Could Possibly Want to Know About the CBA

The NBA CBA, or Collective Bargaining Agreement, is incredibly important. The NBA as we know it would not exist without it. The CBA sets the stage for everything that occurs in the NBA, from contracts to which physicians can be on a fitness to play panel. The CBA is also incredibly important for anyone who wants to work in the NBA. Having an extensive knowledge of the document is vital for decision making of any NBA front office member. The entire CBA is linked here. The CBA is about 600 pages of hard to read legal jargon. That is why I have decided to post this article. Since the CBA is so important yet so difficult to understand, I decided to share a document that hopefully makes it a little simpler. In the document, almost everything you could want to know is in there. This information is from the CBA Mastery Course, offered by Larry Coon at Sports Business Classroom. I would highly recommend this course for anyone trying to eventually break into the basketball industry.
